Senior Interior Designer

Janice recently joined O’Sullivan Architects and is excited that we can now offer interior design services to our clients, sharing her breadth of experience from corporate interiors to residential and covering all phases of projects. She began her career in design with an Associate Degree from Chamberlayne Junior College in Boston in 1980, and has worked continually as a design professional, becoming a LEED accredited professional in 2007, and recently achieved LEED AP with an Interior Design & Construction Specialty.

Interior Design is an important part of the architectural process as it enhances the function and aesthetics that are perceived by the occupants of any building. By working closely with the architects she is able to interpret their vision and provide continuity from the exterior to the interior. In addition, she works closely with clients, being sure to listen to their project needs and goals insuring an end result that showcases their personalities and styles.

On a more personal note, Janice grew up in the Framingham area, and currently lives there with her husband of 34 years. They have 2 grown children, both of whom are married, and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Time off is usually spent with family and friends in the area. She and her husband love the ocean and try to spend time on Cape Cod in the summers, walking, biking, or kayaking near their lake home and snowshoeing in the winter.
