150 Chestnut Hill

This project features eighteen market-rate units and three affordable units over a parking garage, on a site that was a former Boston Edison substation long ago abandoned. The property was overgrown and an eyesore to the adjacent residential and retail buildings. Additional outdoor parking is partially covered to create a large, outdoor terrace for tenants. Black panels on the top unit’s facade create a sleek and modern style and reduce the apparent height of the building; the highlight is a community, rooftop terrace with stunning views and privacy. Each rental unit features two-bedrooms, washer/dryer, and private decks with outstanding views of the city and plenty of natural light. Completed in the fall of 2010, all units were leased immediately.
