Glenville Stops

The Glenville Stops is a new restaurant located in the Boston neighborhood of Allston. We worked with our client to completely renovate the original 1922 brick building, which was previously a row of four small, dilapidated retail tenants. Our work consolidated these four retail spaces into a single grand space for the restaurant, which involved overhauling the entire shell of the building. After extensive structural work, energy efficiency improvements to the building envelope to meet the Massachusetts Stretch Energy Code, as well as revealing the original ceiling structure and completely redesigning the front façade with broad brick arches, a substantial street presence has been created for this restaurant which is quickly becoming an integral part of the Allston community.
