Founder and President
David O'Sullivan, AIA
David is licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey. He is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has over 40 years of experience in both residential and commercial design. He is currently the president-elect of Home Builders and Remodelers of Massachusetts and active with the National Association of Home Builders.

Erion Nikolla, AIA
Licensed in three states (and counting!), Erion is proud to be part of OSA’s growth across New England. He describes his work style as meticulous, unrestrained, and relentless, and loves that every project brings a new adventure.

Mark Sereda
Mark has been with O’Sullivan Architects for nearly 12 years and is especially proud of the 20+ projects he and colleague Janice Gorman completed for East Boston Savings Bank. He describes his work style as thoughtful, client-centric, and collaborative.

Joey Shields
Joseph has been part of O’Sullivan Architects for a year and a half, bringing a work style he describes as focused, adaptive, and reliable. He values OSA’s strong sense of collaboration, where everyone’s ideas are welcomed and teamwork fuels both creativity and learning.

Since joining O’Sullivan Architects five months ago, Rita has been essential to keeping the office running efficiently, ensuring the team can stay focused on their creative work. Donnie Garrity, LEED AP
Donnie has been with O’Sullivan Architects for 12 years, playing a key role in shaping projects across the region. A career highlight for him is leading the redevelopment of the Historic Reading Post Office into a vibrant mixed-use building — bringing new life to a local landmark in the very community where he lives.
He describes his work style as collaborative, thoughtful, and hands-on, and is inspired by OSA’s ability to work with many different clients and consultants to bring ideas from vision to reality.
🧠 Advice for newcomers: “Be proactive and take chances. It’s okay to be wrong — just be willing to learn from it and apply it forward.”

Jon Stone
Jonathan has been part of O’Sullivan Architects for 24 years and recently celebrated becoming a part owner of the firm. His design approach can be summed up as “Modern Takes on Traditional Forms,” blending timeless architecture with fresh ideas.
What he values most about OSA is the freedom to explore ideas and the collaborative spirit of the team.

Sara Colozzi
Sara has been with O’Sullivan Architects for nearly 2 years and is especially proud of her work on 57 Mill Street in Woburn, MA — the first and largest interior project of her career. Watching the multifamily development take shape as construction nears completion has been a rewarding milestone.
She loves OSA’s collaborative work environment, where everyone works as a team and welcomes new ideas regardless of role or tenure.

Isabel Vogel
Isabel has a strong passion for designing spaces that are comfortable, functional, and people-focused, Isabel appreciates how much care goes into balancing design integrity with real-world feasibility at OSA. “It really aligns with how I approached my work in school,” she shares, “but now with real client voices in the mix — which is both challenging and exciting!”
🧠 Advice for new interns: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions — even a lot of them. No one expects you to know everything, and asking shows you’re eager to learn.”
🎨 Fun fact: Isabel loves working with clay in her free time — a hands-on hobby that sharpens her 3D design skills.
